California Consumer Notice
Notification requirements in California. Slingshot and your Slingshot dealer place a high priority on your satisfaction with our performance. If you are not satisfied with our resolution of a warranty concern and you would like to seek a civil penalty from Slingshot, you must follow these steps under California law (Cal. Code Civ. Proc., §871.24(a)-(d)):
At least 30 days before filing a lawsuit seeking civil penalties (Civ. Code § 1794(c)), you must:
Notify Slingshot of your name and the name(s) of any other vehicle owner(s), the accurate Vehicle Identification Number (“VIN”) of your vehicle, and a brief summary of the repair history and problems with your vehicle, and
Demand that Slingshot repurchase or replace your vehicle.
When you submit the notice to Slingshot, you must have possession of your vehicle.
Your notice to Slingshot must be in writing and must be sent either by email to calnotice@polaris.com or by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested, to:
