Our history
The spirit of gardenprogear traces back to our co-founders—engineers and visionaries driven by a shared goal: to create smarter, more sustainable machines for everyday work and life. In the early 2000s, in a modest workshop in Zhejiang, they began repairing and modifying agricultural tools, earning the trust of local farmers through skill and perseverance.
What truly set them apart was a bold idea: to reinvent personal transport for short-distance travel and outdoor work. By 2008, they had developed one of their earliest electric tricycles, designed to handle both cargo and passengers with ease and zero emissions. To prove the machine’s reliability, one founder took it on a 1,000-kilometer journey across China's rural landscapes—showcasing its endurance, efficiency, and comfort.
The demand quickly grew. What started as a niche solution became a popular mobility option for delivery services, communities, and seniors. gardenprogear began mass-producing electric tricycles and expanded into lawn care equipment, leveraging our growing expertise in electric drivetrains, battery systems, and user-friendly design.
Since then, we’ve grown into a trusted name in electric mobility, offering top-selling models of cargo trikes, recreational three-wheelers, and eco-conscious lawn mowers. Our lineup continues to expand, with cutting-edge models built for urban delivery, home use, and commercial landscaping.
We're also exploring new terrain—developing commercial-grade vehicles, working with municipalities on urban mobility projects, and bringing our tricycles into fleet operations. Our newest models include innovations in lithium power, solar charging, and smart navigation—pushing the limits of what compact electric transport can do.
In 2021, we raised the bar again by partnering to share insights on battery optimization and design efficiency.
